Below is just a rough draft and temporary comments for you to think about in the meantime:

My main tips & advice will revolve around how indie musicians can help themselves & others spread the word about their music.  At minimum, YouTube videos are a must & SoundCloud has increased in popularity.  Continually produce new music because fans are demanding & you have to meet their expectations in order to stay on their radar. Resting your laurels on one hit song is foolish and will not give you security with your fans.  Always look ahead and anticipate making your next album...never stop!  When there is a perception that you have stopped, even for a temporary hiatus, your fans will migrate to other musicians to satisfy their hunger.  They are never content for long.

Having talent is a great start, but having the right mindset is what will make you successful.
